TRAD
Get to Know Our Founder
Mar Trad is considered by many to be a rare combination of visionary, writer, and producer. Herro Lowe Studio stems from her global portfolio of transforming early-phase concepts into fully realized projects backed by leading institutions. A graduate of the University of Southern California’s Roski School of Fine Arts, she went on to receive major awards including the Great Rivers Biennial at the Contemporary Art Museum Saint Louis and the Telluride Arts District Grant. Her projects, collaborations, exhibitions, and writing have reached audiences across the U.S., Europe, and Mexico, with press in Artforum International Magazine and collection at Migros Museum of Contemporary Art in Zürich, Switzerland.
Recognized for galvanizing outcomes at the organizational, creative and project level, Mar has contributed to elemental development and funding efforts across industries with grant and funding wins from institutions including the Pulitzer Arts Foundation, MIT List Visual Arts Center, ComcastRISE, Mondriaan Foundation, Amsterdam, Netherlands Cultural Services, Transcripta Bio, JAX Labs and Simons Searchlight.
By fusing her natural creative depth, comprehensive acuity and real-world experience, Mar builds structure where none exists, illuminates opportunity where others see obstacles, and equips clients to advance not only their mission, but their legacy.
